To celebrate Halloween the first year classes were invited to participate in several activities organized by the second year classes: on the 27th of October, TR14-Técnico de Restauração class prepared a Halloween thematic lunch, having as guests the students of the first year class TR15-Técnico de Restauração. During lunch, the waiter apprentices attempted to scare the honoured guests with a low light environment, creepy music, bloody candles, spider webs, a scary and delicious welcome drink, and horrifically tasty dishes such as Spider Eggs, Sausage Mummies,Terrifying Eyes, Witch's Brooms, Bloody (Hand)Burgers and Phantom Brownies. In order for them to practice even more the English language, the guests played a funny riddles game.

In the afternoon of the 28th of October the Halloween cinema, created by the TOT1- Técnico de Operações Turísticas students, opened its doors and welcomed its visitors. After a spooky reception and some Halloween poetry reading, the invited classes COZ1 and TMAS1, had the opportunity to watch a funny Halloween movie while eating delicious popcorns. After the movie, the students also played a Halloween kahoot and the winners received sweet treats.

The last Halloween activity took place in the morning of the 31st of October. The class TAE1-Técnico de Ação Educativa organized Halloween games for their colleagues from TR15, TMAS1 and COZ4 classes. Divided into teams, the guest students could enjoy the different games prepared for them, such as: the Dangerous Path, Word game, Guess the Halloween Sound, Pin the Teeth on Dracula, Halloween Toss Game, Halloween Tic-Tac-Toe Game, Halloween Roulette and Balloween Popping. The last game was the Halloween left/right passing game. The entire group stood in a circle. The hosting students handed out some candies around the circle and read a story. When the word “right” was said, the candies were passed right. When the word “left” was said, the candies were passed left. Whoever was holding a candy at the end of the story got to keep it.

These activities aimed to celebrate Halloween, stimulating and enhancing the team spirit and promoting interpersonal relations between students from different classes. Throughout the activity, by the comments and reactions of the participant students, it was clear that the goals were achieved. According to the students it was awesome!

Congratulations TR14, TOT1 and TAE1 on your excellent performance!
